Every session at the PerfectSwell® Surf Pool runs one wave setting, and the setting changes hour by hour. This is the published schedule — so you can pick the days and the hours that actually match how you surf.

Choose a date to see every session that day and which wave setting each one runs.
Each setting is a different wave — a different shape, a different speed, a different board under your feet. Here is what the codes on the calendar mean.
The complete published schedule, 24 September to 31 October 2026. Useful if you are choosing your travel dates around a particular wave.
A session is not just the time you spend in the water. Here is how the operator builds the slot — and why you should get there early.
Come at least 45 minutes before your session. Tickets, changing, wetsuit and board pick-up all happen before the clock starts — leave yourself the room and you will not miss the slot.
Stretch, a briefing, and a run through what you are about to try on the wave that is running. Your coach sets the plan for the session here.
Your hour at the pool, on that hour’s setting, with a short changeover between rotations. This is the block shown on the calendar.
Cool down, soak, watch the next rotation go, and talk through what worked. The best coaching conversations tend to happen here.
The surf pool is outdoors. The operator can adjust or cancel sessions — lightning, typhoon conditions or extreme heat will close the park. We confirm your exact sessions before you travel, and again on the day.
Guests staying at the surf pool resort get their own booking window on each session. If a particular wave matters to you, staying on site is the simplest way to get on it.
The barrel and air settings do not appear on the public calendar. They run in private sessions, where your group has the pool to itself and picks the setting.
You do not need to work the calendar alone. Tell us your dates and your level, and we will line up the sessions that suit you and hold them as part of your trip.
The pool is closed from 25 August to 23 September 2026 for a scheduled experience upgrade, and reopens on Thursday 24 September. Ocean surfing, golf, and everything else in Wanning carries on as normal in that window — a lot of guests use it as an ocean-surf trip instead.
The slot on the calendar is 60 minutes: about 30 minutes of instruction on land, around 25 minutes surfing, and a short changeover. The full experience package around it runs 120 minutes — a 30-minute land warm-up, the hour at the pool, and 30 minutes of poolside downtime.
Yes, and most guests who are here to progress do exactly that — commonly a beginner or intermediate setting during the day and a harder one in the evening. Tell us how many sessions a day you want and we will build the days around it.
Book a private session. Your group takes the whole pool for the hour and chooses the setting — including the pro barrel and air waves that never appear on the public schedule.
Yes. This is the operator’s published wave calendar for September and October 2026, laid out so it is readable on a phone. The park is the source of truth, and we re-confirm with them before every booking.
Send us your dates and your level and we will map them onto this calendar — which sessions to take, how many a day, and when to book a private hour instead.
